Hi, I’m Sophie and I'd like to start by saying thank you for visiting my website. I know first-hand how daunting starting your counselling journey can be. I have been in your shoes, looking for the right counsellor for myself. It's a deeply personal and individual process, so I understand how important finding the right person is.
I am down to earth, caring, empathic, and warm. I have a passion for helping people to improve their mental wellbeing. I see counselling not only as a personal investment, but also as a gift you give to yourself.
If you think I may be the right fit for you, please feel free to get in touch.
I hold insurance, I am a registered member of the ICO (Information commissioners office) and also hold an enhanced DBS.
I am a qualified Integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). I provide talking therapy using a humanistic approach, meaning you will learn to better understand yourself, deepen your self-awareness, and grow as a person. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment within our sessions.
I lean into different techniques and theories, so sessions are tailored to your individual needs. I provide both short and long-term therapy either face to face or online via zoom.
I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We will work together collaboratively to help you to overcome difficulties and find healthy coping strategies. You will be given the space, respect and understanding to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and relationships at a pace that is comfortable to you, so you can work towards positive change in your life.

Counselling is a form of talking therapy. It is a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to begin to explore issues and problems you may be facing or experiencing in your life.
During your first session I will ask you questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to counselling. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the counselling process. We will go through a counselling agreement so you can better understand how the counselling process works.
A counselling session lasts for 50 minutes. Sessions typically take place on the same day & time each week, usually at the same location.
I provided face to face counselling in Bexleyheath, or online via zoom to anyone living within the UK .
